An imprint of Miller Hoey Ventures LLC

Every book deserves the chance to find its readers.

Miller Hoey Publishing is building a modern, author-minded publishing house without narrow genre boundaries. Our long-term vision is to publish and support books for every audience—from picture books and novels to memoirs, poetry, textbooks, professional works, cookbooks, graphic storytelling, and ideas that do not fit neatly into a category.

Our Catalog

Where our publishing story begins.

Our first titles are being developed now. As the imprint grows, this catalog will expand across genres, audiences, authors, and formats.

For Authors

Building toward a publishing home for more than our own books.

Miller Hoey Publishing begins with original Miller Hoey titles, but the vision is much larger: to eventually offer publishing support and opportunities to authors from many backgrounds, experience levels, genres, and communities.

How We Want to Publish

A publishing company authors can understand.

Clear

Plain-language expectations, costs, rights, timelines, responsibilities, and publication status.

Author-minded

Respect for the creator's voice, goals, intellectual property, and long-term relationship with the work.

Professional

Strong editorial, production, metadata, quality-control, and distribution standards as our capabilities expand.

Open to possibility

We do not want a worthy manuscript rejected simply because it falls outside a narrow list of preferred genres.

About the Imprint

Publishing under the Miller Hoey Ventures umbrella.

Miller Hoey Publishing is the developing publishing imprint of Miller Hoey Ventures LLC, headquartered in Houston, Texas.

The imprint was created to build, publish, and manage books and intellectual property within the Miller Hoey Ventures family while creating the foundation for a broader publishing business that can eventually work with outside authors.

Our first publishing project is How Emily Met Gooper. The systems we build around that book—editorial workflow, metadata, ISBN management, production, distribution, rights, author support, and marketing—are also the foundation for serving future writers.
